NEW SCAM ALERT! Reports of phone calls are coming in where the caller impersonates an “MJM finance representative” claiming you have OVERPAID your power bill and that they need your bank account information in order to return the money to you. They may also ask you to verify your MJM account number. If something doesn’t feel right about any call, always hang up the phone and call back the verified number of the company in which you have an account. MJM can be reached at 217-707-6156 24/7. Feel free to notify us if someone is claiming to be MJM Electric and please take down the number on the caller ID and date / time and share any other details with our office so we can investigate more.
